DNA: I have another theory. While Bush and all the GOP zealots on this thread spend all their time on the so-called discoveries of the so-called truth squad, the so-called 32 Gore "lies," Gore will continue to drive home the points that concern the average American.

As I have explained before, Gore's examples are often allegorical, metaphorical, sort of like the parables in the Bible. Whether or not they are exactly, technically correct isn't important. What is important is that they illustrate his points quite nicely.

It is Gore who is "rope-a-doping" Bush. While George and his spin doctors spend countless hours "proving" each of these "lies" wrong, Gore will continue to address the real concerns of the working men and working women of America.

Joe Public doesn't care for "Gotcha!" politics. He wants to know if his Social Security benefits will be "lock-boxed" and that there will be a prescription drug plan for all Americans.

Bush and his spin doctors would do better to focus on the big picture and not worry so much about "Gotcha!" politics. To do otherwise just plays into Gore's strategy for the next two debates.
