A Priest and a Rabbi were sitting next to each other on a train journey.

They were each reading their respective journals and sat quietly. After awhile the Priest spoke to the Rabbi.

"Rabbi, I understand in your religion, eating pork is prohibited. But have ever even tried it?"

The Rabbi replied " well, yes, Father, I have tried pork on several occasions. I must be honest."

And then rabbi asked "Father, I understand celibacy is required in your religion. Tell me have you..."

The priest stopped the Rabbi, and said "Say no more Rabbi, I know what you are asking, and I must confess. Yes, on occasion I have indulged."

The two men nodded a message of understanding to each other and returned to their reading.

After a while the Rabbi, looked at the priest and said quietly.
"Better than pork isn't it?"
