Your explanation still doesn't make me understand why an innocent unborn baby must die because of someone else's mistake.
Why is it so wrong to protect rights of those who can't defend themselves?

There may often come times where their rights may make your life less convenient, but it doesn't make it correct to take away their rights.
People are so quick to look for the quick and easy solution without paying any attention to the consequences their actions bring.

I can see some of your points about rights being taken away from the public, but what are better solutions?

No property tax?
No public schools?
Drug dealers continuing to push their product?
Drunk drivers still on the roads until they kill someone?
Continue to let a child be abused by his/her reckless parent?

Sure you can find injustices in the current system.
But overall this system is required in order for us to function as a large group.
Sure there are bugs to work out...

I don't see any form of government that is better than our current system.
If there was, people would be on line to move there. Which in turn would cause them to resort to the same rules and regulations that exist here today because of rapid population growth and over crowding...
