Richard,
I believe there will come a time in the near future when one of the DD'S will be successful. Right now with the way the government is driving down the price of gold and driving up the market it is near impossible to get any interest in gold. The COC assays that BD did on the IPM property were .046 free gold and management could have made a good mine from that number along but they had it in their head that there were PGE's there also and spent all of their time on the PGE's and forgot about the gold, so yes management was at fault for the failure of IPM , not the lack of the metals.
