<<Forgot to mention comments on Cree's microwave devices.

Cree's microwave device has been tested by 8 or so companies including Lucent,Nortel,Mot,Powerwave and the report back it that the device is everything that Cree said it was and now Cree is back fiquring the production capabilities and cost structure to supply the demand. They have a very big winner here.

Captn cuyoe- C&C -Cree feels it will take a couple of qts to work off inventory and if the new marketing succeeds business will definity pick up, but for Cree business plan they are not counting on any contribution from C&C in Cree's second half.

Berger59 -ESD- In laymens terms,Sapphire has a fundamental problem (its not conductive)that as yet has not been solved concerning ESD.Sapphire must be a horizontal structure with 2 top contacts and so all the power has to go through a small wire or pipe at the top of the chip whereas Cree is verticle,SiC is conductive and the juice flows though the whole chip.Anyhow Cree is ESD(Electronic Static Discharge)compliant and Sapphire is not and no Auto company will touch it untill it is and that may be never.>>
