Good morning Rose,

I watched the coverage of Trudeau's funeral from beginning to end...I was in tears most of the time especially during his son's eulogy. I remember his sons growing up in front of us...

For most of my life, Trudeau was THE leader of Canada with no equal in terms of charisma, courage and intelligence.

While I may not have agreed with all of his policies, he really was the closest thing to a philosopher king that Canada will ever see.

I also felt sorry for Margaret, regardless of what happened in the past, you can tell the he was the love of her life.

Glad to see you out of cyber-jail, another example of mediocrity stifling dissent...

Rob

Rose! First things first:

What time is it out there? Too early to pop the cork for a champagne toast to celebrate your newfound "freedom?" <g>

Why were you in jail?

PS: I liked Trudeau as well. Of course, I'm one of those flaming liberals who relish change ... I love people who push the envelope in terms of challenging "convention" in ... well, in just about everything <g> ...

People who ask the question: "Why is the status quo status quo? Who says so? What are their credentials for saying so? And why do they say so? What is their motivation?"

Excuse me for a moment -- I have to run off and find Dr. Id ... wondering if he caught "Hardball" with Chris Matthews (on CNBC) last night ... what a riot! One of guests who analyzed the Shrub/Gore debate was Christopher Hitchens of Vanity Fair magazine ... he absolutely SKEWERED Bush ... it was ROF hilarious ...

I'll be back a little later ... glad you see you back, Rose.
