It is laughable to say that the Republicans have higher moral character. Newt Gingrich? Henry Hyde? (who had a child as the product of an affair while in his 40's)? Richard Nixon? Remember, Ronald Reagan presided over an administration that set up a secret government to funnel illegal arms to an enemy of the United States and subvert the US Constitution.
