bwac..."give up the potential"

you can't spend potential.....

"you type of people"

and what type of people are "we"....

"buy here and sell nov 30 calls to offset risk"

nov 30 at 7/8 x 1.....not much logic in buy/write for "downside" insurance

"piling in at excess valuations"

at least you got something correct...an issue with sustained upward momentum can be purchased at any point and profit potential is strong. the converse holds true for the current situation...

"easy 40%"

i'm not that astute of a trader.....40% comes a bit harder to me....

good luck, buy more dell, load the boat...and as one very sincere dell loyalist posted not too long ago..."this is the last opportunity to get dell below 38"....

BWAC

So give up the potential easy 40% from 25 to 35? I don't mean this in a bad way, but you type people just absolutely kill me. Thats insane. And it has nothing to do with "to preserve capital....". Isn't piling in at excess valuations how the current market and those hung in DELL at 50 got in this shape in the first place?

Geez if you are worried about the downside. Buy here and sell Nov 30 Calls to offset the risk.

good points. if the Mafia gave you two choices to have your legs broken by two different means, which way would you chose? (a) they can break them after giving you a headstart by running up the hill. or (b) they can wait for you at the top of the hill and break them when you get there.
