hi gottfried re, "It amuses me to think what kind of person programmed this"...... i had the same exact thought as i perused the dell knowledge base and began to read about their restore utility called zztop. here's an excerpt: **************************** "The zztop file on the Resource CD is compressed and needs to be expanded before it will execute the restore program. You will need a blank formatted floppy disk to complete the following steps.
