Any ideas on how to bring the price down for consumers when it comes to natural gas? I can't wait 'til the cold weather sets in and gas climbs to $8-$10 / mcf. Gee, perhaps an NEP for NG? After all, how can Canadians consumers compete with Americans [for their own gas] when our loonie is at .66-.67 of a U.S. $. I love it! I guess we could ask Joe C. what to do. Or better yet, Ralphie might have the answer. After all, he's a genious when it comes to matters of the economy, isn't he? CIMA's answer There's a simple solution. There are a lot of cows in Alberta and the rest of the prairies that elicit a ton of gas that is currently untapped. There must be a way of capturing this gas while they're standing at the trough. As an added advantage, the family farm could be saved through the added income it would bring. The Dept. of Agriculture could come up with its own version of the NEP to help out the easterners as a pre-election gambit. For a person with the last name of Trudeau this should fit with your approach. LOL! And I added this (ggggggggggggggggggg),... ROTFLMAO,...I can see it now, a fart catcher on every single domestic animal,...and humans too (ggggggggggggggg). We won't ever be caught in someone elses wafting flatulence again,...and when you go home, you link up to the gas supply line and a fuel cell will recycle your stink to produce electricity to power the house. Folks that had beans and beer for dinner might be able to provide power for the whole neighborhood (gggggggggggggggggg).
