if they did, they did not generate enough buying interest to stabilize the share price....

it is under strong distribution which in essence indicates that large sellers are present. close to 75mm shares have trade in a very narrow range....this is an orderly distribution....the question is what direction will it break...as in which side dries up first?

price entry points are relative...as long as the exit point is higher.....in spite of what some investors might believe, it is better to buy a stock that is in an upward trend...lower risk then an issue that every day sets a new low.

anyone who bought dell over the last two years and is still holding those shares has realized a loss. the last profitable buying opportunity was october 98, when it gapped down on open, in reaction to a global crisis, to a split adjusted 20 or so.....

the trend changed in early 99....has not been able to exceed momentum peaks since then...

since i started this post it appears to have notched down to 25 3/4 distribution....
