Yes, it's an interesting predicament, and obviously when you enlist in the military, you give up a certain amount of personal freedom. But giving up the right to refuse a potentially harmful vaccination seems a little scary. Then again, the military can't risk having some percentage of its force knocked out from something preventable. I don't know what to make of that issue in particular, but as a civilian, I'd certainly like to at least have the option to decline.
