bob,

My mom owns 100 shares and is roughly at breakeven, on my pick of several years ago. I've traded LGND in the distant past, and continue to keep an eye on it. No position now. Am generally keeping my powder as dry as I can for at least a month. There are much better short targets than LGND, but it still has to prove it can get a selling product to market. LGND seems very good with the FDA, but their strategy is one with a long time horizon, and is taking even longer to unfold than management had hoped. Not much downside here, unless a major correction comes before December, which could easily happen. But significant upside is going to take a marketing coup by one of its lead compounds. I'll believe it when I see it, and if I see it I'll figure I can get on board before the mo players are done with it.

Cheers, Tuck

Did anyone notice that Friday's close for LGND was the highest close since May 4...when it closed at 14 9/16. Could we be in for some near term upside? Shouldn't LGND be reporting the results of the BC studies anytime now?
