The silver lining that I see from the DELL warning is that this has got to spark accelerated action by the Fed and US banks to do whatever necessary to stabilize the euro. Nobody wants a hard landing (October seems to be the most likely month), especially in an election year so you can bet Bill and Al are making lots of phone calls to twist arms right now. If they succeed that would start one helluva rally.

If I didn't know(?) better I would think that CPQ was going to warn after the bell today. There have been a significant # of >10k share-blocks sold in the past 30 minutes. Why would the FMs desert CPQ ?
