Here's one from the Shoot First, Ask Questions Later Department: first the sentence, then the trial. 11:05 ET Micron Tech (MU) 42 3/4 -4 3/16 (-8.9%): -- Update -- Thomas Weisel downgrades to BUY from STRONG BUY; believes Q4 PC demand will be typical, providing potential upside to investors' expectations but will await data to support this thesis. MU and DELL worries seem to have hit the semi stocks today. However, Dan Niles said that the subdued production forecast for MU would create a more favorable supply and demand balance for DRAM, particularly if it is accompanied by the expected increased demand in the Dec quarter.
