Phoenix, also LPTH has been a rock through all this. It's coiled like a spring now. And what's interesting, I'm showing hardly any short interest, which seems a bit odd since it was once a plaything for shorts. Also 11% institutional ownership.

Rande Is, how does one swing trade accordingly for a potential meltdown?

Trying times indeed...<3400 will likely get us <3200...yuck

Doesn't look like we'll get thru this until everyone gives up!

Only buying/holding those that have been kicked, cut, slashed and thrown out with the garbage...

Interesting the twin peaks of July/August '99 look something like the same months of '00

The grand-daddy phoenix of them all, not cute or sexy, is GE. The stock is a powerhouse. Even with a PE of 50, the price has rarely faltered through all of this turmoil. Of course, it is not really a strictly high-tech company, but its diversification includes a number of cutting edge technologies. It is now trading within a whisper of it's all time high, and shows no sign of retreating. Slow moving, but very reliable.

Another to watch on my list is one of my old favorites NATI. It has been trading sideways for the last couple months, but in this market, sideways is a good thing if you're long. Good support at 43. Currently well off it's highs. Look for buying on the dips. When the market turns up, this one might be a good candidate to break its range.
