kvkkc1--I respect your views. I just happen to disagree with you regarding the readiness of George W. Bush to become president. I think the establishment system (read GOP money/powerbrokers) that propagated the Bush nomination erred big-time by not enabling John McCain to capture the GOP nod. I suspect Gore'd be having much more difficulty against McCain, and that the preference differential among males and females wouldn't be so contrary.

I still feel like the Republicans are forcing a kid candidate down the electorate's throat and that were Bush to win, his priority number one would be doing the bidding for those who got him his presidency, and not the folks who did or did not vote for him.
