I love west Texas! Two females in a fast red car and a bunch of truckers, all driving like someone was offering money to get to the border!! And on the best roads between San Francisco and downtown Louisiana! I-10 was like driving on my mother's dining room table. The neatest thing was watching along the edge of the highway as the flora changed gradually from scrub grass in the dirt to shrubs to trees as we gained altitude. However, in the spirit of curmudgeons...there wasn't a heck of a lot to eat out there in the way of sushi. cbb
