that's not inflation. only rising prices. also, the consumers concerned should simply perform a mental hedonic adjustment if they don't like it...or keep soon-to-be-worthless banana republic frizzlebuns for future heating requirements...

Maybe something shifted the demand curve to accomodate the need for rising fuel prices. Maybe people in Wisconsin are actually reptillian, and since it gets so cold up there they need a much warmer heat source to stay alive with a pulse. And maybe no natural gas is available locally and it has to be UPS'd from natural gas bearing land. Maybe there is very little propane in the market up there, so people are going to have to start using natural gas to cook bratwursts and to boil the fish on friday.

We have to look at the rising fuel prices as a whole to view what the core of the problem is. We can not, after one little blurb in some internet rag, ascertain what the exact problem is.
