Gene, <You are in complete denial and don't seem to have any idea what's going on in the industry. Post all the FUD you want in response, but don't expect a response from me. I have given up on you since you are obviously blind to the facts.>

Under every normal circumstances no one could be
so unreasonable. The only rational explanation is that
the guy is just doing his duty. I am just curious of what
is his "performance metrics", and for how long he will
be paid.

Gene,
They are all "building" vaporware but nobody is selling. DDR is vaporware. None exists in the channel. How much longer do you think all those can live in selling vaporware, hype and BS? And now we hear of incompatibilities and Micron saying no volume in 2000. DDR is D.O.A.

realworldtech.com

"One of the most troubling reports, which was provided by an anonymous member of Team-DDR, is that Micron is seeing incompatibilities between modules and chipsets."

"For several months, sources within Micron have been optimistically claiming that DDR would be shipping in volume before the end of Q3, and most certainly by the beginning of Q4. Right now, it looks questionable whether we will see real volume before the end of Q4."

You want to prove me wrong? Then post a link where any Joe can buy volume of DDR Pcs, memory and mobos. That shouldn't be hard. After all you just said that "everyone is building". They's been building since 1997. Shouldn't finally someone be selling too. ;-)
