In my new profession, a couple of numbers tracking my daily progress are posted on the Web every day. I can't run and hide behind multiple pseudonyms and layers of BS like most of the hedge fund types on SI. Just try tracking their results sometime.

So you call it like you see it and stick to your guns. Some days you catch the bear, and some days the bear eats you.

The trick is to win more often than you lose.

Internet Capital (ICGE) 12 13/16 -2 15/16: Lehman Brothers downgrades to NEUTRAL from BUY; says confidence in the ICGE business model has been significantly undermined; sees few near term catalysts for ICGE until it is able to bring new partner companies public -- which is not likely to occur until early to mid-2001.
