Bullshit content garbage trend isn't up.
You mean Excite? ATHM is still tracking YHOO quite well. I'm almost certain that Excite will disappoint and that is part of the reason for the selloff. The worst part is that when Excite disappoints people will actually be surprised and sell *again*.

Where did I go looking for broadband stuff first? Excite of course. In my fantasy I imagined it would recognize I had a broadband connection and pop up stuff introducing me to a whole new world. No such luck. As a matter of fact I can hardly find any broadband content on Excite at all.

I'd also like to say that I've been underwhelmed by broadband. Its narrowband faster- thats cool, but I want a lot more. "Streaming video" is usually 100kbps, sometimes 300kbps. That gets you a 2-3 inch box thats a little grainy (and for me occasionally stalls). So darn many slow servers out there too. I'd hoped for a lot more. Gimme 1.5Meg reliable and I'll change the world!

Who can do that? @home of course. But we have been there before haven't we.

People want their broadband. They pay for their broadband

People getting installed left and right all around me, though some are considering waiting a while because of the $100+ install fee.

Ride it out

I've done a pretty admirable job of riding it out- not gonna give up now. Heck- I've bought more in the 12's. Enough that I'd be thrilled to see 17 again, now isn't that lame.

However I'm thinking very hard about going short again for the ride down to 10. I simply can't afford to lose any more.
