I would appreciate some feedback on these comments:

1. One of the more troubling things that I am discovering about the most recent downtrend in this sector is that many companies are not experiencing even a slight "technical bounce" from very oversold conditions. For example, CMOS, BRKS, and ASYT have been literally destroyed and every indicator I see tells me that they have been in very oversold territory. This is probably the first time that I have noticed a complete absence of a technical bounce and I am wondering if perhaps the concensus opinion among otherwise prospective (or potential) buyers is that either (1) we are heading into a recession or (2) even if the "cycle" in this sector is not over until the latter part of 2001 or early 2002, it is simply (in light of the relatively small time frame) not worth it to get back into the sector simply to start exiting 4-6 months from now.

looking forward to comments,
regards
