I hope you do not think I am a fink for appreciating it when I am treated with some respect. I do think that someone cannot be a very good political philosopher or historian without knowing something about those writings. But as I have said often, I do not think that politicians need to be intellectuals, and, in fact, intellectuals generally should advise, not rule......
