But if you like government intrusion into your life, and half your money taken away in taxes, and DEA,etc breaking down doors and murdering and maiming people, then there isn't much I can do to change your mind. I don't mind paying taxes when it is used to help maintain order in this society, and provide the services it meant to provide. Take away zoning? Do you really want someone buying the property next to yours and starting a factory there? or use it as a place to store his junked car collection? or be able to do anything that he wants which may reduce the value of your own property? Also, How often does the DEA come knocking on your door, let alone break it down? Usually this is done after a warrant has been served on someone who has been found to be extremely suspicious of illegal activities. There have to be rules in society for it to be able to function with out chaos. It sounds as if you'd prefer complete chaos over democratic order. There is a lot of waste in government. As far as I can see, that is it's greatest downfall. Eliminating the wastefulness is the problem. Not the order that the government helps provide. Respectfully, -Clappy
