The ones I own for starters! Seriously, technology in general.

Technology is great and growing well. The change in sentiment is baffling. I seem to focus on my personal experiences and technology is making my firm far more efficient.

A few small examples:

I use iprint for my envelopes. We use a variety of envelopes some with address service requests and some without for bulkmail. I was anble to add addresses, logo, etc. on-line and the price of the envelopes was less than that of my prior printer.

We did a direct mailing using e-letter. The upfront cost was more than us doing inhouse but that is not taking into account our labor which is very significant.

The on-line store inventory is updated via POS systems including our loose diamonds. Therefore, my other brick and mortar locations can use the net to see if the diamond in question is still at another store. We cal also provide the certification for the customer immediatly and have the diamond transferred without addition communication costs.

We have accumulated a bit more than 5000 email addresses from our exisiting customer base and our direct mailing costs are dropping significantly.

There are more.
