How about it, Tenchusatsu, how significant is the advantage that accrues to a dual core configuration with a shared on die cache? I'm sure Intel is also exploring CMP (chip multiprocessing). CMP should be better performing and less expensive than the Apple solution you were making a reference to. And Sledgehammer should be easier to scale than McKinley (though should be and will be are two different things). Could Intel too have CMP plans? Dan
