Someone could easily fall for that trick even if they do know the name of the prime minister. I know his name but I could have easily fallen for it. I think it is quite possible that some of the other presidential canidates could have as well.

I am assuming your name is Tim Fowler...if not, lets say that it is for purposes of this discussion. If some one came up to me and said tim frank wants to talk to me....I would be perplexed because I know a Tim Fowler but I don't know a Tim Frank.

In the same vein the name of Canada's PM is Jean Chrétien...I believe the name that was said to Bush was Jean Poutin. They sound as different as Frank and Fowler. And one would think that someone would be listening more carefully because the name is French and poutine is also French as well. (BTW I think Frank and Fowler are both have a German derivative).

But why are you defending Bush to me.....I have made my decision who I am going to vote for...and frankly the more I learn of Bush, the more I think Kash's description of him is apt.
