Ben,

<< But China's decision (soon) on CDMA will influence Korean Operators' Standards perspective. (Snake eats tail.) >>

Hope your right, but so far we are not seeing any indication of the 3 operators resolve to opt for WCDMA.

<< OT - My computer ate a virus last night (vbs/loveletter.worm)
I cleaned the drives, but am working on VERY buggy box. Hope to get professional help this afternoon. BLAST! >>

Whew. Bummer. You have empathy from me. I got hit once but caught it before any serious damage done.

Presumably you have disinfected the virus. Make sure that you go to the "Deleted" box of your e-mail client and make sure any deleted items that could have been affected by the Worm are given a final delete.

Also I recommend you download (if you can) and run the following utility ("Cure for Love") to get rid of the worm from the nooks and crannies:

Re: Enhanced Data Rates for 3G3 CDMA

There are two relatively recent articles regarding enhanced data rates in 3G WCDMA and 3G cdma2000 by Peter Clarke in "EE Times" that I do not think have been linked here, and may be of interest to some.

The first is called "Enhanced 3G eyes 8 Mbits/s" and is dated 09/22/00:

eoenabled.com

The follow up dated 10/2/00 is called "Engineers Look Beyond 3G To Boost Data Rates":

totaltele.com

Sorry if these have already been posted or linked.
