PCSS. Re: "I'm seriously finding all this downside CPQ activity depressing especially in light of CPQ's advancements since EP/EM departure and debacle." True enough but perk up. Remember Sir John Templeton's advice, "Buy at the moment of maximum pessimism."

Each day the pessimism increases. First, Intel, then Apple, then Dell. First, the concern is 3Q. Now, 4Q looks in jeopardy. We start hearing about a "hard" landing.

Then CPQ plummets on no specific company news. As the pessimism spreads the Nasdaq approaches a bottom.

If you ignore all the noise, and realize that the economy is fundamentally sound. There has NEVER been a hard landing without strong inflation. The internet buildout will continue. Win2000 will start spreading. The P4 will come.

When the market realizes this, then it will rise, and you will make money. Of course you will make MORE money if you start a little sooner than the market, but that's your choice.

Michael,
I watched some business report program on channel 12 this morning. A market analyst went over the PC market with charts showing Money Flow and the stock Price. Dell has had bad Money Flow for some time and even worst MF currently. CPQ MF is great while the price has currently suffered. He was recommending CPQ. Of course that program is on before seven in the morning.
