I kind of see resignations and earnings warning combinations as sort of a "cockroach theory". When you see one, there usually is more. Something more may be amiss. Keep a tight stop on a long.

What amazes me is that this stock traded back near it's 52 week high. Seems no one had an inkling that this was coming.

edit: I see Zeev has an opposite theory as I do. He knows the FA much better than I do. So take mine fwiw, which ain't much. <g>

The resignation at VECO is actually good. The guy got the job after the acquisition of his company, but probably it was conditional on his meeting his numbers, he did not, out he goes. Less overhead.

As for CCRD, it got punished quite a lot, I would say, they are making money and their sales rate are pretty close to $100 MM annually, currently their cap is around $150 MM.
