Tim, thoughtful post. John has been very correct in his macro calls. like you said,,he's smart money. i do see another rally, too. what i've learned in the market is that there is always another chance to sell...and buy. the only question is if one chooses to use those opportunities wisely. the psychology of the market has changed. will be interesting to see if the long term buy and hold guys are actually just that, buy and hold...or will they bail. one good thing...i've been hearing many people taking more and more money out of the market. finally, i'd prefer a less manic market. perhaps, this experience will temper investor enthusiasm for a few years. mike
