Exactly like October 1998. The news is trumpeting the OPPOSITE of reality. "Inflation fears" and "recession fears" at the same time unemployment is at a low, AND wages have gone up LESS than expected? Damned right its the opposite. In the 70's we had stagflation(high unemployment, low eco growth + high inflation). That has been the true fear of this market and it has not/will not come to pass. Now we have sustainable growth with little inflation and high employment. Way Cool!
