However, such action would require two improbable events to occur. First, a serious rift to occur between the US Fed and the other central banks. Second, the frat buddies getting, as you say, the ole oosik. Unless, of course, the conspiratorial types are right and there really is a concerted global effort to bring about the ultimate downfall of the US Clownbuck and replace it with the NWO Clownbuck.
