Dual channel PC600 is a good way to run the price up for minimal performance gain (relative to single channel.)

For dual channel setup (where you need 2 RIMMs), 2x128Mb will be cheaper than a single channel 256Mb RIMM if you wanted a 256MB setup (which should be the norm with Windows 2000)

Pricewatch has the lowest price of 256Mb RIMM at $425. So 2x128Mb RIMMs at $199 ($398) is not bad.
