Lexar's PrintRoom.com Selected as Official Online Photofinisher for 80th
Annual Miss America Contest

Personal Albums Feature Exclusive Photos of All 51 Contestants

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Oct 6, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- PrintRoom.com, a business unit of Lexar Media, Inc.
(Nasdaq: LEXR chart, msgs), has been selected by the Miss America Organization to be the first official online photofinisher
for the 80th Annual Miss America Pageant. PrintRoom will host photo albums, providing the capability to view and
purchase exclusive photos of the contestants during all phases of the Pageant at www.printroom.com. Profits from the sales
will go to the Miss America Organization scholarship program, which provides assistance to women throughout the world.

"We have made several changes that will make this year's Pageant more in tune with today's lifestyles and trends. This is the
first year that the Pageant will be shot digitally and we have selected Lexar and PrintRoom to help us make the transition,"
said Art McMaster, vice president, administration and finance, Miss America Organization. "All of our official
photographers will shoot using Lexar digital film, making it a natural to have PrintRoom host the albums of all 51
contestants."

The Pageant began October 2nd and each day new pictures will be uploaded. The albums are open for all to see and anyone
may purchase official Miss America photos of their favorite contestant. Some of the events being photographed include the
talent competition, the contestant's parade and the swimsuit competition.

Official Miss America Pageant photographer, Bruce Boyajian, will be working closely with PrintRoom. "Using digital
photo technology, we get faster viewing, editing and printing turnaround, plus we can easily upload the latest images of each
contestant to their personal photo album. Nowhere else can you see and purchase these exclusive competition shots.

PrintRoom began providing photofinishing services for digital photographers in August 1999. "We are proud to be working
with the Miss America Organization and see this as the perfect venue for making special images available to a broad
audience," said Carlton Osborne, vice president and general manager, PrintRoom.com. "Our developers have worked very
hard to build this technology and we expect the new features will be very attractive to anyone interested in displaying and
selling images."

PrintRoom enables customers to buy high-quality photographic prints of digital images processed in PrintRoom's developing
lab, using silver-halide digital printing technology and photographic paper. Digital photographers can quickly upload digital
images, view them and then enhance with optional auto-correct and edit features before selecting the images to be printed.

PrintRoom offers free memberships that entitle members to free online albums (public or password-protected), storage of up
to 200MB for images, guest books, photofinishing discounts and more. With online photo albums, members can invite

Luther,

The only news I know is that it's October and some folks think the semi-cycle has turned negative and all techs are overvalued anyway.

Tell you what you do. Sell 10 SNDK Jan '01 60 put contracts (symbol swqml) for about $9. (gross $9000). If SanDisk ends up below $60 you will have to buy 1000 shares and your net cost will be $51. If it's above $60 at expiration you get to keep the 9 grand, and that will buy you a nice digital camera, a lot of CF cards, and a very nice European vacation to boot.
