If you assume that NASDAQ will hit 2500 probably not. However if you are not so pessamistic AMD is really cheap compared to its growth and earnings. I also like AMAT at these prices.

Assuming we’re here to make munnee, is there any reason to hold such stocks as intc, amd, dell, msft?

Looking at the market and having the time to surf Ebay today, I would suggest investing in hockey cards. It's been 10 years since I've done a valuation on my childhood collection. A few of the top performers, notably Mike Bossy and Steve Yzerman rookie cards have increased in value over 500%. They seem not to waiver during Fed rate hikes. Thank god they survived numerous parental garage sales.
