AMAT was a bright spot in the market today.....if you consider a 2% gain after a 50%+ loss a bright spot.

At this point, I'll take what I can get:-)

VERY OT
My generation. Did you see the "shot heard 'round the world" live on TV, or otherwise? Bobby Thomson, the old
Scot. Mays' catch in '54 should have been no problem catching on TV live, right? To be young again, or at least
not watching my gains in the market melting away...

Not that old. I was 6 in 1951. I have seen Thomsons hr so many times on TV I believe i saw it. 1954 is as clear as a bell and again i saw that catch a million times so not really sure if i saw it realtime. But I clearly remember 4 in a row. They beat 4 great Cleveland pitchers--bob feller, early wynn, bob lemon and mike garcia I believe. I can name the giant and dodger teams postion by position from the mid-fifties. I hated the dodgers but loved them too. Jackie Robinson is a personal hero of mine. Willie Mays was the best i ever saw. Some of the guys today could play at that level if they extended themselves but few do.
PS The market sucks--but it will turn--Just hope we dont see the 2's in naz
