The point I was trying to make is that these large companies have had their runs. They should only be mediocre performers for years.

Intel, and maybe AMAT are large companies. AMD's market cap isn't a whole lot larger then ATHM's. Despite the fact that its profits are close to double ATHM's revenues. This is not a slam at ATHM, I recognize that it has potential and
have a small position in it myself, but even if AMD wasn't experienceing rapid growth in revenue and profits (and for 2000 it is and I am almost certain this will continue through 2001) its current price makes it a good value pick. I guess this is going a bit off topic though...
