OT, I agree that the KLA were butchers just as Milosovic and his henchman. I disagree with many other things you said. I quit taking the IBD. While I like the financial information, I detest the constant radical right wing diatribe that WM. O'Neil insists on injecting into what should be a financial magazine.

<VOT> but interesting in regard to Central Europe <VOT> A letter from a friend of mine in England........ __________________________________________________ 09/28/2000 To the American 'Boy Racers' Long time no hear as they say but I just thought I would drop you a line about the latest trip in the 'E' (1968 E-Type Jaguar) Departed Dover on the 9th Sept and made my way to Brussells for the start of The Euroclassic 2000 which was a classic car tour for approx 230 classic cars from 1920's Bentleys to late 70's Porsches and Ferrari's. All sorts of makes were present, Healeys, 120's through 150,s an SS100 and 24 E Types. Facel Vega's, Astons, AC's Alfa's. All manor of MG's and the list goes on. After the start in Brussells we made our way via the Ford Test Track at Lommel in Belgium, where I was doing 90mph on the banked curcuit with my arms folded !!! to Hanover in Germany. Overnight in Hannover then off to the /Bugatti/Bentley/Audi/Skoda and Lamborgini museum at VW HQ, Wolfsburg which was a fantastic place. We were running late and caught the VW staff putting oil lift down where all the cars had been parked. Then on to the Autodrome at Most and a few laps of the curcuit before ending up in Leipzig for the overnight halt. We are now into what was deepest East Germany. From Leipzig it was on to Colditz Castle and a fascinating visit and before they make a film about it, no Americans escaped from there. On then to the Most curcuit for fun and a great track to drive, very fast with sweeping hilly bends. From there it was over the border into The Czech Republic and on to Prague for the next overnight halt where we experienced the original Budweiser or Budvar as it is called only this does not taste or smell like fizzy urine, in fact it was excellent and only about 75c a bottle at the hotel bar !! From Prague it was on to the hill climb curcuit at Nemest where I got the Jag completely sideways on several bends and was making rapid progress before I caught up with a 1933 Asto Martin Le Mans on a blind bend and had to warm the brakes up. From here it was on to thr Brno Autodrome for more speed thrills and a very quick Lynx D type replica. Onward to an overnight stop in Brno. Watch your belongings here, very eastern block with huge featureless concrete towers and rough roads and loads of strange people in Trabants and Lada's. Nobody here had obviously seen a classic car of any description and everyone would come out onto the street to wave as all these cars thundered past. The kids were particularly enthusiastic and in most places we went they had been given a half day off school to see the cars. From Brno it was over the border into Slovakia and on through Bratislava to Danube Bend. Some of the roads here were cobbled and made the handling interesting especially coupled with tram lines. Now over the border into Hungary and the first thing that greeted us were hookers at the side of the road in broad daylight wearing nothing but G strings and peep hole bra's waving frantically at the cars. Luckily I was not driving at this point and could concentrate on the scenery. Some were stunning, but there were some big units with faces like bulldogs licking piss off a thistle. It turns out the cops here are bent and they were sitting in wait and stopped a lot of the cars for speeding, particularly the D type boys who were. Most were not and they fleeced them for any money they had on them in any currency. People turned to me for some advice on what to do if stopped. (he's a "Bobby" in Merry Old) I replied "Don't stop, floor it they're only in a Lada for fuck's sake" and so that was it !!! From there on to the Hungaroring and again a chance to play for as many laps as you wished on yet another great curcuit before on to the finnish in Budapest in front of the Parliament building of a truely fantastic city with stunning buildings and equally stunning women. A truely epic adventure with only a 1200 mile drive back to the UK in the midst of a petrol crisis through Austria, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and France. As for the car it ran superbly with a blow-out at 70mph on the way down to Dover and in traffic in Prague where there was gridlock for a couple of hours it got so hot (but didn't overheat) that the vacuum pipes from the servo melted!! I didn't need to add oil, no water or anything and in total 2737 miles from home and back. Next year the talk is of going down through the Dolomites to Italy, to the Ferrari factory at Maranelo and on to Venice with a play on the curcuit at Imola. Is anyone interested ??? OT Do you you know a single Serb, Bosnian, or Kosovar? The genocide story's were lies and War propaganda totally and completely. On the cover of Investors Bussiness Daily they exposed the fact that the "smoking gun of genocide", at at mine in a town whose name I can't spell, found nothing. There were supposed to be hundreds of bodys in this mine if not a thousand. They found ZERO. I can no longer ignore the ignorance of such statements. It is the same ignorant crap the white supremecists tout to rationalize the murder of millions of Jews. My wife is a victim of the genocide you claim did not occur. Many of her friends were escorted to thier death not because they were Muslim but because theft, pillaging, raping and murder became a legitamized form of gov't control. She lost everything but saved her children.
