Yeah, there is a case to be made for a "drop it to buy it" set up. What bothers me is the general outlook. Energy prices are going to make the market rather difficult to come to terms with. Even a roll-back on Energy at this point is too late. The prospect for the coming Winter is high Oil and Gas prices, this adversely affects the economy and will degrade stock market prices. The longer term is dismal, that's where my concern is. A few guys with funny hats in the Middle East and Venezuela can damage World Economies. That's pretty serious stuff, it could lead to assassinations. Which, if I have to wait on line for a tank of Amoco Premium I would have no problem with (in case the CIA is keeping a count on voter sentiment).
