The Nokia phones available in upstate NY for Verizon subscribers do not sell very well. I'm told the sound quality, and even the tendency to drop calls is worse than for the Q860, which I use. I suspect the reason Verizon is now offering the Nokia phone is that they got a bunch at really cheap prices, at a time when Nokia handset sales are below expectations. The only problem I have with my 860 is that it has so many features I still haven't been able to use all of them.

I took advantage of the QCP-860 deal with Verizon. Great phone, great service and great price.

PS - The phone still has Qualcommm branding. One of the last I imagine because the instruction manual already says Kyocera. Collector's items-- get them while they last!!!
