albert, shareholder's equity, book value and tangible book value are specific terms. None has to do with market cap, which is also a specific term, or the current market price. People have agreed to use specific definitions with specific words in order to try to avoid confusion. Kevin was using the agreed upon definitions for the words he used. In order to avoid confusion, it would be better if you were to these definitions as well. Regards, Barb
