Buying earrings in sets of three is a wonderful idea. It's inevitable that I am going to lose an earring, I know it. The only exception is a pair of very heavy gold earrings that weigh maybe half an ounce each. No way will one of those come out without my noticing it, my head would automatically tilt to the other side.

<<I remember in earlier more practical times that men's suits could be purchased with an extra pair of trousers to extend the suit's life, as Ish can likely testify to.>>

One old fellow insisted on a suit with a second pair of pants as his last suit had two pairs and had lasted 30 years. The suit he was getting was a present as it was his 90th birthday.
