You always come up with tough questions. SNDK has a much greater BV than SSTI (due to last year's humongous Cap gain), but it expected growth rate seems a little lower, and their "expected earnings next year are $1.40 and $1.90 (SNDK, SSTI respectively). Taking these and other parameters into account, I get a bear market low for SNDK of around $30 (twice their "then" book value), a fair value of about $42 (about a PR of 30 if they maintain their growth rate at 30%, I think they should be better, because operational income is finally coming through, but I am taking "analysts" values for next year's earnings), and bull market fair value of $70.

SSTI I have a bear market low of about $15 (8 times what I expect them to earn, because they have not much support from BV), $40 nomal fair value (about 20 times expected next year earnings) and $90 in case of a bull market (50 times earnings, the full growth rate currently expected).

Thanks for your advice on INTC - I bought beacuse it broke 40 then rose back above. One thing I like about it is that it does not move fast.

doesn't move fast?! It moved from a close of 73.9375 on 9/1/00 to a close of 39.9375 on 10/6/00. Sheesh! <ggg>

Good Luck!
