Hi Kate,

it is odd, the content of your post. As I was searching for the source of his (Faulkner's) quote I began to read more and was struck by the significance of this quote in answer to your query.

" It's all now you see. Yesterday
won't be over until tomorrow,
and tomorrow began
Ten thousand years ago."

William Faulkner

So many people are basing all their investing decisions
on things that occurred many many years ago and others
basing theirs on things that must occur in the future as
a result of things that even occurred in said past. The markets are nothing more than what you basically see today and all the psychology that goes with it, nothing more and nothing less.

Think about it - If YHOO has a good report Tuesday night, all is well, if not, all is not well. Nothing more than what Faulkner was saying.

Selah,

Voltaire
