IS: I am sure I do, but since I have never tried to write a book about how "I" do technical analysis...I have never tried to put them into words. I think showing examples of price action pivot points is the best method of explaining what they are and how to identify them.

As I said, for about two years now on SI, I have been commenting and posting charts with price action pivot points clearly illustrated. Over the two years I have noticed a lot more folks on SI have begun to illustrate them on their charts and even a few charting services.

Believe it or not...one individual on SI (who shall go un-named) actually ridiculed my practice of using them and illustrating them on my charts. He even created ridiculing illustrations about them. To bad, he might be much better off financially if he had learned to use them instead...<gg>

I have noticed the same with price chart patterns. I began discussing and illustrating them on my charts about two years ago on SI as well. Over the two years I have noticed a remarkable increase of others illustrating them on their charts and discussing them as well.

I have also found (over 15 plus years) semi-log charts to be much better for trend line and price pattern analysis. Chart patterns, trend lines, price action pivot points and horizontal price action support/resistance clusters need to be first identified and then all need to be used in conjunction with real time technical indicators to assist in determining action to be taken or not, when the price action intersects the above.

Good trading and investing...
