You wrote, "The real issue is will Lucent's revised numbers meet or beat expectations." I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there isn't anything in this next announcement that turns the STREET off. The STREET has certainly been informed that this quarter and most probably the next wont look good. We (stock holders) have to hope that the company presents the fourth quarter results in such a way that the STREET can't act surprised and see something they can use as an excuse to sell off a little. Let's hope the presentation makes them want to buy a little this time. But then again, look what happens when all the analysts and brokers keep saying that the FED's next announcement is already factored in and then the FED announces what everyone expects them to announce and the market goes nuts anyhow. Who can figure things? I certainly can't.......ANON
