And Canada Has Paid Dearly For This Incident.

It was a sad day for peacekeeping, which Canada had earned an excellent record of over the many years, under extremely difficult circumstances, in lands we had little reason to be in , with no self determination of the methodology of enforcement, only to receive the full vengeance of a system that treats its peacekeeping soldiers as second class citizens.

We have learned our lesson well.

We will never be the same.

We will not be everything to everyone.

We take it upon ourselves to uphold the law ,the best way we know how.

By example.

May our peacekeepers never be placed in hell again.

He cut it adrift from all the carefully built checks and balances for Canadian political control of high level policy and strategy within such institutions as the UN and NATO, leaving it all to his friend, George Bush.<<
