it will probably not be acceptable to use DRAM from an Asian manufacturer.

Scumbria, that will be a good excuse for Micron to finally do what they promised INTC when they accepted $500 MM in cash to ramp up RDRAM. If no one makes RDRAM in the US, then Dell will have to rely on its recent long term supply agreement with Samsung.
